Painting

Began cave art to decorate cave one moon ago. Show designs to other members of tribe. Some say it not look like them. Others say I have no grasp of distance between man and elk. I point out to first group stick figures no look like anyone only represent. To other group I say is impressionist not realist. Not be so Baroque! Will go back to more painting later. Need sleep. Also wolf not allowed in cave. Wife say he not allowed to stay inside make smelly cave. I point out bats almost as bad but no complain before. I sleep outside with wolf tonight.

In the beginning...

Am starting first journal. Hope will go well. Today killed elk. Was beautiful and tasty. Used fire harden spear. Feed whole family with kill. At end of dinner wife complain I leave elk on floor. Where else keep elk?!? Elk proper place on ground no different then keep on rock. Me no understand.
